Come work with us! We’re looking for:

Driver/Laborer

1.  Driving Responsibilities

a)  Must have a valid Class G with a clean driving record.
b)  Truck inspection to be completed before trip.
c)  Truck inspection report to be completed with any defects reported to the foreman.
d)  Truck and trailer to be operated in a safe and appropriate manner, at all times.
e)  Any moving violations are the sole responsibility of the driver.
f)  All Highway Traffic Act regulations and MTO rules are to be followed at all times.
g)  Truck’s fluid levels are to be checked every morning, as part of the inspection.
h)  Driving will be shared between all qualified drivers.
i)   Photo copy of Drivers License to be provided to the Office Manager.
j)  The driver is required to be at the shop 20 minutes before departure time in order to complete the truck inspection and report.

2.  Laborer

a)  Responsible for laying ground tarps and clean-up of all job-sites.
b)  Responsible for ensuring that all tools are packed up at the end of each day and stored appropriately in the truck.
c)  Responsible for assisting with ripping and preparation on all job-sites.
d)  Responsible for ensuring that all proper safety equipment is used on every job site, with no exceptions.
e) Responsible to follow all assignments and directions from crew foreman.
f) Responsible that company provided attire is worn to each job-site, to maintain a professional company image.
g)  Responsible for ensuring that all useable materials are taken out of the trailer EVERY night, without exception!
h)  All customers and staff must be treated in a respectful and professional manner in order to maintain a professional company image.
i)  Responsible for reporting any injury to crew foreman immediately and completing a workers report of injury as soon as possible.
j)  Must have a current Fall Arrest Training Certificate.
m)  Arrive at shop, a minimum of 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

3.  Compensation

a)  Base Salary, paid for on-site time and time spent maintaining equipment, will be $18.00 to $22.00 per hour.
b)  This will be reviewed bi-monthly, based on personal performance.
c) If driving, you will be paid from shop to work site.
d) A 30 min lunch break will be paid on any days of 6 hours or longer.

2.  Shingler

a)  Responsible for the completion of all work in a timely and professional manner.
b) Shall be responsible to ensure all job sites are drug and alcohol free.
c) Shall be responsible to ensure a proper inventory of supplies is kept on the truck at all times.
d) Shall be equally responsible for the replacement cost of any lost or carelessly damaged company tools or equipment.  This standard applies equally, to all crew members as well.
e) Responsible for ensuring that all proper safety equipment is used on every job site, with no exceptions.
f) Ensure that you are fully knowledgeable and current with all facets of shingle roofing and flashing, including materials and applications.
g)  Responsible for reporting any injury to crew foreman immediately and completing a workers report of injury as soon as possible.
h) Responsible to follow all assignments and directions from crew foreman.
i) Responsible that company provided attire is worn to each job-site, to maintain a professional company image.
j) Responsible for ensuring that all useable materials are taken out of the trailer EVERY night, without exception!
k) All customers and staff must be treated in a respectful and professional manner in order to maintain a professional company image.
